Brady is a native of Jackson, WY, where he enjoyed a long and successful career with the Jackson Hole Ski Club. Following a four-year college racing stint, and two years as head coach at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, Brady returned to the Teton Region to stay. Brady lives in Driggs and has coached and directed the team for five years.

Scott Kauf Scott Kauf
Freestyle Team Head Coach

Scott relocated to Teton Valley nine years ago from Vail, CO, where he was founder and director of the Vail freestyle team. Scott is a former U.S. Ski Team member, a five-time World Pro Mogul Tour Champion, a U.S. Open skiercross champion, and a competetitor in three ESPN X-Games. Scott bringsmore than 20 years coaching and competition experience to the team.

Assistant Club Director

Justin is a freesyle tele skier and lives Driggs, Idaho. Justin grew up in Barre, VT, and began skiing in his grandmother's yard when he was three years old. He enjoys tearing up the park as well as the backcountry and teaches the next generation of telemarkers how to fly through the air in style. Justin took a break from coaching this year — after tearing up his knee and becoming a father — but helps Brady with the Club Director chores. Justin is also sponsored by telemark binding maker 22 Designs.

Snowboard Team Head Coach

This is Josh’s second year as coach for the snowboard team. Josh moved to Teton Valley when he was 10 and has lived in the Valley for 13 years. Starting in high school, Josh rode for Burton Snowboards for four years, then moved to the Unity Snowboards factory team for a year. Josh is currently sponsored by Habitat. Josh has a total of nine years of competition experience, including four years as a pro rider, competing in events such as the Paul Mitchel circuit for boardercross, half pipe, and slopestyle. As an amateur, he qualified and competed in the USSA Nationals. Josh has a long history with the team — he was on the first ever Grand Targhee snowboard team and was captain of the team for three years. Back in the day, he trained with the likes of Mesha Thompson (founder of the snowboard team), Steve Grant, Lesli Kilgore and Aaron Gagni.

Jim Schulz Jim Schulz
Alpine Racing Team Coach

Jim brings a tremenous amount of apline racing and club management skills to the team. Jim was the program director for the Jackson Hole Ski Club from 2002 to 2005 and in 2002 he was named Jackson Hole Ski Club Coach of the Year. Prior to working with the Jackson Club, Jim was a ski intructor and Children's Ski & Snowboard School Manager for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In 1996, Jim was named to Skiing Magazine’s Top 100 Instructors in North America as well as Jackson Hole Ski Instructor of the Year. Jim is a USSA National Certified Coach; CSCF Level II Coach; and USSA Alpine Official. Jim lives in Victor, Idaho, where he and his wife Chris own and operate National Floors & Windows. During his spare time, Jim helps coach the apline race team.

Marc Olesen Mark Olesen
Snowboard Team Coach

Mark is 22 years old and he grew up in Teton Valley. He started skiing at age 2 and started snowboarding at the age of 11 with the Grand Targhee Ski Team. Mark recenlty moved back to Teton Valley, after spending a couple years traveling to Hawaii and then Colorado, where he helped coach the local teams. Mark is a Cert 1 snowbaord intructor and has an AVI 1 Freestyle Accredidation. He loves getting kids excited about snowboarding and loves helping them excel in the sport.
