You asked for it, and it's finaly here! The Grand Targhee Ski Team is hosting its first ever – and first of many – USSA Moguls/Dual Moguls competition on January 12 and 13, 2008, at Grand Targhee Resort. We're really excited about having all of our friends come on out and visit us for a great competition! Sign Up Form Ski clubs: downlod the entry form, here. Please sign up early so we can accomodate everyone. We're looking forward to seeing IMD teams, and hopefully a few Northern Division teams as well. Lift Passes Lift passes for competitors 12 and under will be discounted to $29 (normally $36) and the price for competitors 13 and older will be $41 (normally $59). The best place to purchase lift passes is the Activity Center. Check-in Meet on the 3rd floor of the main lodge upstairs from Wild Bill's Grille, between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m., to check-in for the event. Stairway access is just inside the lodge, off the main plaza. Dinner Banquet We'll be hosting a dinner banquet on Saturday evening at the historic and local favorite Teton Teepee Lodge (RSVP is included on the competition sign-up form). First day competition results will be announced at the Teepee before the banquet, and we'll be serving an awesome Italian feast from Tony's Pizza. Competitors and coaches are free, and the cost is $10 for others. Banquet will run from 5:p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Teton Teepee Lodge is located in Alta, on the Souh side of Ski Hill Road, across from Ala School. Lodging We have two lodging opportunities to recommend. First off, you can lodge at the Teton Teepee Lodge. The Teepee is about ten minutes from Grand Targhee, located on Ski Hill Road. We'll be holding our Saturday dinner banquet there, which makes it a convenient lodging location. This family style lodge has 16 rooms surrounding the central fireplace/greatroom, and separate boys' and girls' bunkhouses downstairs that can accomodate dozens of singles.
